The Kindle Paperwhite Kids is down to just $115 for October Prime Day

As expected, Amazon is offering some great discounts on its own devices as part of its October Prime Day event — including e-readers like the note-taking Kindle Scribe, which is down to $254.99 ($85 off) at Amazon. However, the Kindle deal that really stands out is on the Kindle Paperwhite Kids. Normally $169.99, right now, it’s down to just $114.99 ($55 off) at Amazon, which is $5 shy of its best price to date.

If you want a Kindle Paperwhite without ads, you’d typically have to pay $169.99 for the privilege. Thankfully, though, the Kindle Paperwhite Kids offers a way around that, making it a great e-reader for the whole family.
